NomadThrive publishes practical guides that help remote workers make nomad life last. These are the standards every guide on the site is held to.
Who writes NomadThrive
Guides are overseen by our editor, who writes under the pen name Alex Rowan. We publish under one editorial name so the site speaks with one consistent voice, and we would rather be open about that than invent a persona.
How we research
For visas, taxes, insurance and anything with legal or financial consequences, we rely on official and primary sources (government sites, providers’ own terms) and link to them so you can check for yourself. Where rules differ by nationality or change often, we say so.
Health and wellbeing content
Our health guides share general, evidence-informed information for travellers. They are not medical advice and do not replace a doctor. As the site grows, our goal is to have health guides reviewed by qualified professionals, and we will name reviewers on each guide when that happens. See our disclaimer.
Updates and corrections
Every guide shows its publication date. When we substantially revise a guide, we update it and say so. If you spot an error or something out of date, please tell us; we review every correction.
Independence
We choose topics and recommendations based on what is useful to readers. Nobody can pay for a positive mention. Some links may earn us a commission, and we explain how that works in our affiliate disclosure.
